Austrian Post Office releases shares
DPD Parcel Service 100% private once again
With effect of 1.9.2005, the three DPD shareholders Lagermax, Schachinger and Gebrüder Weiss have bought back the 30% stake that the Österreichische Post AG (the Austrian Post Office) has held in the individual parcel service companies since mid 1997.
The corresponding sales contracts were signed on Wednesday 31 August 2005 – subject to the provisions of the cartel court.All parties have agreed to keep the purchase price confidential.
