Top freight users confirm Gebrüder Weiss as market leader in general cargo

"Weiss24”, the domestic system of Gebrüder Weiss, recently celebrated its tenth anniversary. Just how well this service has established itself in the market becomes evident from the current survey about carriers by the professional journal Österreichische Verkehrszeitung. Companies from trade, industry and commerce ranked GW at first place for national general cargo traffic. The international logistics organisation also occupied first place for international general cargo.

Walter Konzett, the Product Manager responsible for Land Transport, attributes the excellent result to the intensive work over the past years. He went on to mention that Gebrüder Weiss had managed to secure a leading position for itself in the sector thanks to continuous further development and quality improvement of its services in the general cargo sector. "Our customers profit from the varied service package, the constantly high quality and in particularly with the identification that all GW employees show with the process,” added Konzett remarking upon this latest news. The success factor of reliability should also not be forgotten: "We stick to our promises.”
His thanks go on the one hand to customers for the confidence they have shown and their good cooperation, as well as to employees for their dedication.

Proven domestic system
It was already in 1997 that Gebrüder Weiss set up the "Weiss 24” domestic system and brought it onto the Austrian market. "This meant that we were able to be the first private transport and logistics company that could guarantee a 24 hours delivery time right across Austria,” says Konzett, by way of emphasising the leading position of Gebrüder Weiss. Today, Weiss24 stands out with 1.1 million deliveries and highly satisfied customers as a mainstay of the GW organisation.
